Fried jalapeño poppers


2 cups mozzarella

3/4 cup almond flour

Fresh jalapeños (I used like 8-9)

Cream cheese

Oil for frying


1- Make fathead dough by melting 2 cups of mozzarella with 3/4 cup almond flour. (I added like 1/4-1/2 more cheese since I had a lot of jalapeños)

2- Put dough under parchment paper and use a rolling pin to make it thin.

3- Cut each jalapeño long wise in half, I also would cut them in half the other way too so they were shorter. Be sure to take all the seeds out

4- Stuff the jalapeños with cream cheese and wrap them in the dough.

5- Bake 350°F (176°C) until they brown a bit. I think I did about 15-20 minutes.

Note-You don’t need to fry them, they taste great after the oven. But if you like them crispy you’ll want to fry them. They tasted more similar to the Arby’s poppers after I fried them to me than the oven

I put oil into a small pot and fried them for 30 seconds to a minute. Once they cooled down they were nice and crispy!
