Me: I’ll just run to Aldi for gluten-free bread & bagels. Also Me:

I just went to Aldi for the first time last week. It’s a strange store, looks like they threw it together in a weekend even though I know it has been there for years. The gluten free selection was in a small area- one aisle end cap- but had a very wide variety for such a small space. The frozen section was disappointing, all they had was two kinds of hot pockets and some chicken nuggets.

I bought the Live G free biscuit mix, chewy double chocolate cookies, deluxe mac and cheese, cinnamon raisin bagels, and the buffalo chicken hot pocket. I heard they had a good sesame chicken, but they didn’t have it at my store.

I think the Live G Free soft cookies are the same as the Enjoy Life one at shoprite- same size box and looks the same. The bagels are as good as Trader Joe’s, probably the same since they are loosely related.

Aldi does not have shopping bags, so if you’ve never been there, bring your own. I didn’t know that, but luckily I had a spare bag in the car.
