24 year old female, CD has caused me to become lactose intolerant.
Before being diagnosed, I thought I was strictly lactose intolerant. I haven’t touched dairy from May until about a week ago. The only dairy I’ve had has been eating is cheddar cheese, I tolerate it fine – little to no lactose. Now I want to explore…
I won’t even lie, I’m DYING for some fettuccine alfredo or alla vodka sauce.
When is it advisable to try eating something with a decent amount of lactose? Would it be harmful/wrong of me to just wing it and see how my body reacts?
