If there’s one thing that I believe can make the biggest impact on your wellbeing, it’s having a consistent check-in practice with yourself.
I don’t mean a weight check-in, measurement check-in, or a before and after photo check-in. I mean a mindful check-in with yourself.
So often, we move through our lives so quickly, running from work to dinner with friends, to yoga class, or whatever else fills our day, and we lose — or never even form — a conscious moment to really check-in with ourselves to see how we’re feeling, what we need, and what’s supporting us or not supporting us in any given moment.
In this video, you’ll learn how when you use check-ins in your life regularly, you can uncover patterns and signals from your body and you can use those to more easily shift your behaviors and create new habits.
Put It Into Practice
So ask yourself, where can you add a check-in with yourself into your day? It might be after each meal, or it may be at the end of the day.
Whatever it looks like for you right now, the most important thing is you start including a check-in in your day and make this practice a habit within your daily routine so you can see how you feel and see how you’re progressing towards your wellness vision.
