Any mood changes when first going gluten free?

I’m new to this. My partner and I decided to cut some things out of our diet for at least a month — all wheat/barley/rye, corn, simple sugars (except in whole fruit), desserts, alcohol, dairy (except yogurt). To be clear, neither of us have a gluten allergy or intolerance (that we are aware of).

We are on day 4. Overall I fell significantly calmer, less stressed, less emotionally labile, and more energetic. It could be totally unrelated, or it could be related to something other than the gluten that we cut out. But we didn’t drink much or eat much dairy before. We did eat a ton of bread.

Has anyone else experienced similar effects?
