General Tso’s Cauliflower Recipe is an American-Chinese based dish. It is not considered as the authentic Chinese dish which is said to be originated from the region of the province. General Tso’s is primarily called as the “Manchurian” in many of the American Terms or the Indian Terms.
The dish is named after a Qing Dynasty who was a statesman and a Miltary leader. But the story has it that a Taiwanese chef prepared this dish when he opened a restaurant in New york to suit the American palate the dish was made sweet and saucy thus the dish came into existence.
