Transformation of the Day: Vee lost 82 pounds. She wants to live a long life and be active with her children. After two knee surgeries, and although she couldn’t really work out, she still got results with a low carb, high protein diet.
When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?
This last leg of my journey has been off and on for the past two years.
I’ve been on this weight loss journey more than a few times. I’ve seen the pounds on the scale go up and down. I’ve worked the hardest I ever worked in my life and then let myself go. I always said, “I’ll get back on my workout routine and eat right.”, but never actually did it.
This time around has been a little different because I had to have two knee surgeries, and I refused to be as big as a house. I started to condition myself to realize this is a lifestyle style change. This is an everyday journey. No, I’m not perfect. I have to make healthy choices. My body requires me to eat healthy and workout.
What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going when you wanted to give up?
I was tired of feeling depressed, having knee issues, etc. I had to realize my Why! Why am I doing this? Ultimately, my kids were my biggest motivation. I want to be able to interact and be active with my children. I realized this is bigger than me. I want to live a long and healthy life. I also want to look and feel better.
How did you change your eating habits?
I started with a low carb, high protein eating regimen. I lost quite a bit of weight on Keto. I was at a plateau for a minute, so I started using Total Life Changes products (Iaso Detox Tea, NRG, Nutraburst, and Resolution Drops.) The products gave me the boost I needed to get back on track. They say summer bodies are made in the winter. Well, Summer 2020 ain’t ready for me!
What did your workout routine look like? How often did you workout? During the last year, I haven’t really been able to work out. I’ve mostly done physical therapy because I had two knee surgeries.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 247 pounds, and my current weight is 165 pounds. My goal weight is 140/145 pounds.

What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
It’s always harder to lose the weight the next time around. Your body changes as you get older. Discipline and consistency are key. You have to put yourself first!
What advice do you have for people who want to lose weight?
Stop waiting for the perfect time. Tomorrow isn’t promised to us!
