Hi guys, I just recently moved to Fiji and was quite worried about being able to keep my gluten-free diet or get cross-contaminated here frequently. But seriously, Fiji is a fantastic place to be gluten-free: local food doesn’t contain much gluten containing ingredients, some restaurants have gluten-free marked food on the menu and if not, waiters and chefs are very friendly and help to prepare something I can eat. Also supermarkets like New World or CostULess have quite a good selection of gf flour, cereals, cookies, pizza dough or crackers. Some bakeries even offer gf bread and there is one pizzeria in Suva having gf pizza! I though I‘ll leave this here in case someone needs the information for their travel.
