Trying to get tested, if I took a week off of gluten, will that give me a false negative?

I am trying to get tested to see if it shows gluten intolerance/Celiacs. I don’t think I’m celiacs, but who knows… I took a week off of gluten to ‘test’ it out before asking my Dr. for tests. I’ve now been eating gluten for a week, but I want to get the tests done. Some sites say you have to be eating gluten for a week, a month, I’m just confused. I call the lab where the tests will be done and they said it doesn’t matter if I’ve been eating gluten or not… which I know is BS. Any suggestions?
