GF banh bao and ramen to go

I do not have the exact amounts since I just did it by feel but this should be it:
Prepare any filling, char siu, pulled pork anything what you like.
-
You’ll need roughly 500g flour, (a blend you’ll use for cakes would be best I guess, or a blend made of 6parts brown rice flour, 2 parts potato starch and 1 part tapioca starch and roughly 1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum I didn’t use xanthan gum)
-
add some salt, baking powder and a small package instant yeast.
-
Mix and make a well
-
In a saucepan or microwave heat up roughly 3dl milk, 5tbl sugar and some oil and add it to the flour mix,
-
Mix well and split dough into 8 – 10 parts
-
Simply stuff the filling into the small dough, place it on a baking tray (with baking paper), wrap the baking tray with cling wrap and let it rest for 60min.
-
brush it with egg wash and bake it for 30-35min at 180C
-
let the banh bao rest for 5min and brush it with honey diluted with water (2:1 ratio)
